We came on a 13 day tour with our amazing driver Daminda, also known as James Bond. He was amazing from the very start untill the end. His humour was infection and you can really tell that he loved what he does and it shone throughout the whole tour, making our experience truly wonderful. The car was air conditioned and we could play our music which was the ultimate luxury and Daminda was so knowledgeable about everything we were doing we always felt safe and in the best hands. Thank you!

No sólo es un gran conductor sino que además te explica aspectos socio-culturales del país. Sus recomendaciones de restaurantes fueron un acierto. Sin duda repetiríamos con ellos porque nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

We spent a week in Sri Lanka as part of our honeymoon trip and had Sasanka from Sri Lanka Dream Tour drive us around. He was fantastic, really helpful and gave us good advice on what was best to spend our time on. He was also very flexible about what we wanted to do. We were delighted with him and found him really easy to get get along with. We would really recommend him to anyone going to Sri Lanka and thinking of hiring a driver. It allowed us to visit the maximum number of places in Sri Lanka for the week in comfort. Sasanka also had a personalised gift made for us at the end of the trip, which was a lovely gesture.

Prashad was our driver for 5 days. We felt safe and well looked after by him. He would point out different things to look out for along the road, and share information about the country. He definitely made our trip much easier and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sri Lanka.

We had Dinusha as our driver for the first 5 days of our Sri Lankan trip as we were moving around a lot. Dinusha was super friendly, nothing was ever a problem and he was always on hand whenever we needed to be dropped or picked up and we always felt safe. He brought us to great local places for lunch, helped us buy tickets, and when we weren’t sure what activities we wanted to do he always had an idea of the best things. Would highly recommend Dinusha as your driver!

We have just finished a 7 day tour with Upul, and can’t praise our experience highly enough. We were married in Sri Lanka 30 years ago and decided to return for our anniversary. From the moment I wrote to him with an outline idea of the itinerary we wanted, he came back and had filled in all the gaps with some wonderful suggestions.

We met him at our hotel in Colombo with 2 suitcases and 2 sets of golf grips. I had warned him about the size of our luggage, but his car was large and comfortable, accommodating everything. The driving in Sri Lanka (especially towns and cities) can be very busy with tight bends and narrow roads. Upul is an expert at managing this and you always feel safe in his car.

He took us to places we didn’t know we needed to see until we got there .. some of the most beautiful lunch stops with views to die for. When we went to the busy tourist stops, he knows the best places to park and how to negotiate the queues quickly. He took us to some fantastic local restaurants to get a true ‘taste’ of Sri Lanka. We had a week of laughing, joking, and an education on this most beautiful country. His kindness was most noticeable in the beautiful gift he gave for our anniversary.

All in all it has been the most memorable week. We are leaving having made a friend in Upul. He is an honest, trustworthy and genuine person, with great knowledge of his country. We felt spoiled, pampered and above all safe. He has made 2 friends from Scotland, who will never forget him and this magical trip. Thanks Upul, we hope to be back soon to do the bits we’ve still not seen …
